Getting Around the County...

Grundy Transit System

The Grundy Transit System (GTS) insures that convenient transportation is only a phone call away. The GTS Shuttle will pick you up at your door and deliver you right to your destination for a nominal fee.

The Shuttle runs Monday-Friday 6 am to 6 pm - 24 hour advance reservations are required. Call 1-888-786-0862 for more details and service areas.

Morris Senior Van Program (PUP Van)

The Morris Senior Van will transport seniors throughout the Morris area for a nominal fee.

To schedule a ride, please call the Public Works Department at 815-942-5063 or 815-942-5064. Senior Van Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 10:00am to 1:45pm

Patient Transportation

Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers is pleased to offer a free, non-emergent transportation service for individuals from Morris and the surrounding communities to the Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers campus, or to area physician offices. Vehicles are equipped to accommodate physically challenged individuals. Specially trained volunteer drivers and assistants are also readily available to assist patients on and off the vehicles. Patients have used this service to get to and from doctor's appointments, immunizations at the Health Department, radiation therapy at the Radiation Therapy Center of Morris Hospital, dental and eye appointments at area offices, and for many other health-related needs. The rides are set up on a first call basis.
